signed up after a google search and seeing photoAI was 30 credits for a 15 second seedance 2.5 video and 100 bucks for 3,000 credits, the page explicitly advertising how much cheaper this service is compared to other platforms. that exact credit advertisement is still up on the photoAI FAQ page regarding seedance and video right here: https://ideasandbugs.com/en/help/articles/0536715-seedance-25-on-photo-ai-make-ai-videos-of-yourself seemed like a good deal so i signed up for the max plan and my credits quickly disappeared, i upgraded to a higher plan to get more credits without thinking too hard, quickly used all my credits again, and only then noticed tiny text under the “make video” button that says videos actually cost 100 credits to make, essentially a 3.33x price increase than what was advertised to get me to sign up for a plan in the first place. not sure how that’s even legal but i guess that’s just another sketchy AI business strategy. posting this partially hoping to get a refund/credit for the secret price increase but also to maybe warn others coming here because of the supposedly affordable cost compared to other services when it’s actually just a scam to get you to sign up hoping you don’t notice the fine print.
