Shady practice to not email monthly payment confirmation

I've been paying this for 6 months without using it. I signed up 7 months ago, played around with it and completely forgot about the service. Subscriptions should alert at least via email when you complete a payment, but this service here obviously wants people to forget they have the subscription. What's the best way to request a refund for all these months of absolutely zero use (or access) to this platform?
