While many services fluctuate, a static hotel rating can be deceptive. For example, if I stayed at a hotel rated 9.3 last year and it has since dropped to 8.8, my experience will likely feel like a downgrade, leading to a perceived lack of 'value for money.' Conversely, a new guest might be perfectly satisfied with an 8.8. To bridge this gap and build trust in AI-driven ratings, I suggest implementing a Dynamic Rating Timeline. This would allow users to see if a hotel’s performance is trending upward or downward, providing much-needed context to the final score.
