Continuing existing chats in Slack are hard to continue

There were are few people I was in contact with over Slack. These chats didn't move off platform and I would like to continue them.

However, not everyone is on Telegram yet or has noticed the change at all.

And as far as I can see, there is no way to export the existing chats to archive them at least.

What is the recommended way to deal with this?
