The price of energy seems to be the single best estimator of a capacity to produce wealth in a nation. Energy should be cheap. If it’ not then we need to make it cheap. Drop the whole emissions trading system that makes EU energy poor. It impacts all people but poor people the most by imposing insane costs on energy production.
