Would be cool to have a builtin diff tool. I often want to compare 2 different JSON docs, side by side, prettified and see the differences.

I hope to add a copy button to copy the json data after deletion

Showing array length

When my JSON has an array it would be useful to show the total number of elements when the list is collapsed. Something like [5] would be useful, so I know the array has 5 elements.

Support markdown

Markdown support would be nice for sharing notes

Hide JSON red squiggly lines from misspelled text

We’re not in editorial mode when looking at a JSON file. Red squiggly lines trigger my OCD :) Thanks for the site anyway!

Keep a local history

It would be cool if I could come back to json.pub and look at past data I’ve inspected. This could be especially useful when referencing large objects that I work with on a regular basis but don’t fully “hold in my head”

Switch sides

Can we add a button to switch the content from left to right and vice versa? The use case is this: when you paste unformatted JSON on the left, the formatted JSON appears on the right. However, I’d like to edit the formatted JSON directly. By switching the formatted JSON to the left and the original text to the right, it would be much easier to make adjustments.

Split view

A split view to support visualisation of 2 JSON files simultaneously so we can compare contents would be great when reviewing things like structured LLM outputs.

Auto hide input text on small screen

I use the JSON.pub on split screen + direct link to show detail from log website, so it might be easier to have option to hide the input text since we’re using #d= url.
