Transparency & Presidential election in the EU

What frustrates me most about the EU is its convoluted leadership elections, a system that figures like Fidias Panayiotou navigate or expose.

I’d like more focus on his role and the EU’s process over the last couple of months—say, February to April 2025. It should be a straightforward presidential election like in the U.S., not these opaque, backroom deals.

Transparency needs a major upgrade too, matching what we see from e.g. Trump now—daily, unfiltered interactions with a press that isn’t afraid to ask hard-hitting questions.
