Refund request β€” Remote OK Premium purchased today

I purchased Remote OK Premium today and would like to request an immediate refund.

I subscribed because Remote OK showed several relevant remote job listings as available. After paying, I checked the actual company application pages and found that multiple jobs were already closed, unavailable, or not truly open to worldwide remote applicants as shown or suggested on Remote OK.

Examples include:

  • Workera AI β€” Customer Success Associate: not available on the actual application page

  • Huntress β€” Marketing Campaign Operations Associate: not available on the actual application page

  • Emora Health β€” Operations and Support Associate: application page not found / no longer available

I paid for Premium to access active and relevant remote job applications. I discovered immediately after purchase that several listings were outdated, closed, unavailable, or materially different from what was shown on Remote OK.

I have now cancelled the subscription through Stripe, but I am requesting a full refund for today’s purchase because the service did not match what I reasonably expected when subscribing.

I am an EU consumer and request that this refund request is reviewed under applicable EU consumer protection rules, including rules around clear pre-contract information, misleading presentation of services, and the 14-day withdrawal right for distance contracts where legally applicable. If Remote OK believes the withdrawal right does not apply because digital access started immediately, I still request a refund because this is not simply a change of mind. The paid access immediately revealed multiple outdated or unusable listings.
