Hi,
Here are suggestions for Ui intuitiveness:
1) Profile settings are dispersed in both the “Settings” and the “Profile” section, which is very confusing. Having to find out that interests can be edited only in the “profile” section, when you scroll down, but all the other profile settings can only be edited in the “Settings” section. It’s very frustrating and confusing. It takes a long time to do small things.
Suggested Improvement:
The ENTIRE Profile settings can be edited inside the “Profile settings”: Both interests, and the rest which is currently in the “Settings” section. When clicking “Profile”, you have your profile photo on top, when clicking on it (or a assigned button near it), you can upload or change your profile photo. Right below you have “View Profile” link or button. By clicking on it you can see your profile the way other users view your profile.
Below the “View Profile” link are all other settings, that you can edit (bio, nationality, date of birth, etc.)
2) Zoom with mouse scroll: When navigating the globe, it’s hard to figure out that you need to double-click/shift+double-click to zoom in/ out. Way more intuitive would be, like on every platform, to bind the zoom to mouse scroll events.
Since I am on the topic of giving feedback, here is another idea on a different topic:
3) Add more City rating tags: How about also adding “non-woke”, and next to “LGBTQ+ friendly” also “LGB friendly”? Since some people are looking for places that are not “progressively radicalized”, and there are gay groups who want to distance themselves from radical trans movements? (E.g. check out J.K. Rowling’s X thread for examples). As a suggestion to allow for more differentiated and diverse ratings.
